YFU v Tallinne (SK)

Na túto udalosť som sa tešila ako malé decko už dva mesiace. Konečne ich zase skoro všetkých uvidím. Na popríjazdovom seminári sa z nás totiž stali skvelí kamaráti. Navzájom si rozumieme, sme stále v kontakte. Spája nás výber rovnakej krajiny a zmysel pre ofenzívny humor. Neviem, či sa už stalo, že by mali nejakí výmenní študenti tak blízky vzťah ako my. Keďže bývame roztrúsení po celom Fínsku, je ťažké stretávať sa často, zvlášť keď nás je tu niečo okolo sedemdesiat. Našťastie sú tu výlety, kde sa zúčastňuje väčšina z nás. Do Tallinnu nás šlo 53.
V sobotu ráno sme sa stretli v Helsingin Satama (prístave). Cesta loďou trvala dve hodiny, keď sme vystúpili, ubytovali sme sa v hoteli a odtiaľ čo najrýchlejšie vypadli do mesta, ktoré je mimochodom nádherné. História dýcha z každého rohu, stredoveké budovy sú zachovalé a krásne zrekonštruované. Počas voľného času sme sa ukryli v kaviarni, kde sme si užívali lacné ceny (v porovnaní s Fínskom). Na námestí sme sa stretli s YFU dobrovoľníkmi z Estónska, ktorí si pre nás pripravili program. Celý večer sme strávili v skupinkách behaním po centre a objavovaním všetkých známych pamiatok. Potom sme sa stratili a našli a spoločne sa navečerali. Po večeri sme šli naspäť do hotela. Veľa sme toho nepospali, veď kto potrebuje spánok?! Prebrali sme asi všetko, dospeli k záveru, že je lepšie žiť bez kolien ako bez lakťov. Ráno sme sa "zobudili", najedli (jedli sme dosť dlho keďže sme každý stáli v rade na jedlo asi štyri krát) a potom sme mali celý deň voľno a mohli behať po Tallinne. Stretli sme sa poobede v prístave, nastúpili na trajekt, zamierili priamo do bufetu a zvyšok cesty sme už len trávili. V Helsingin Satama sme sa zas na tri mesiace rozišli so slzami na krajíčku. Už teraz mi chýbajú. Bol to krásny víkend.

YFU goes to Tallinn (EN)

I was so hyped. Like a little child. I've been waiting for this event for three months. I'll finally see them again! We became such a great friends on the arrival orientation. We're getting along so well and we're in contact 24/7. There are two big things connecting us: same choice of exchange country and offensive sense of humour. I don't know if it has ever happened that exchange students became this close friends. And because we live all over Finland it's hard to meet up often and we apprecciate every minute spent together. Thank God there are trips like this. There were 53 of us in Tallinn.
We met on Saturday morning at Helsingin Satama (Port of Helsinki). The ship cruise lasted two hours, when we arived, we checked in the hotel and then went straight downtown, sightseeing ofcourse. The city is beautiful. History is breathing on you froom every corner. Medieval buildings look like from fairytale. We decided to hide in a samll café during the free time and enjoyed cheap prices (compared to Finland). Then we met YFU volunteers from Estonia on the main square who prepared a programfor us. We spent whole evening walking through Tallinn most visited places in small groups, got lost and found, ate dinner together. After that we went back to hotel. We didn't really sleep, who needs to sleep anyways?! We went through everything and came up with hypothesis that it's easier to live without knees than whitout elbows. We "woke up" in the morning, ate breafast (that took us long, because everyone was standing in the for food at least four times) and then we had free time for the rest of the day and could go exploring on our own. We met up in the afternoon and went back on the ship, where our steps followed straight to the buffet. The rest of the cruise we spent laying on the ground digesting the food and sleeping. We had to say goodbye to each other for three months right when we got back to Helsingin Satama. It was a great weekend. I already miss them all.
